PostSubject: 70 mach 1 questions found sitting since 1992   70 mach 1 questions found sitting since 1992 EmptyWed 2 Nov - 1:36

Hello everyone. I have some questions concerning a mach 1 that i have found. I found a 1970 mach1 that has been sitting since 1992. The car seems to be complete with all the mouldings that say mach1 on the rocker pannels. It definantly needs to be restored and that is my brother and i s plan. The car is a m code 351 but has a 2 barrel carb on it and in the truck there is an intake gasket that probably was taken off of the car the car seems to have been a shaker but the shaker is missing and the hood creates some suspitons. First it doenst have any hood pins the ones that seems like all mach1 s have. I looked under the hood to see if they were bondoed up but no the origional medium blue metallic is present. The car is pretty well bondoed and primered so i thought that i would investigate. The hood also has bolt holes around it where the shaker would go and inside the car there is a trim peice that fits around the hole with the holes and is brown the second set color on the car. I do have the buck tag. The tag reads
325
5 28l 63c 3w
ot m136656 6 medbrbl
lp tt de cl cg rm
I would appreciate if anyone could break that down for me. The tag on the door of the car is oversprayed with the blue color and the engine tag on the shock tower is overspryed black. I dont know how rare the car is but seeing that the hood is the same color and seeing that the hood latches that all mach 1s have not being there threw someing to me. The car also has an automatic and the folding rear seat. The rear deck spoiler is gone and it doesnt have slats they are gone or never on it. Thanks for the help Robert Turnbull
