I need help identifying my car Empty
PostSubject: I need help identifying my car   I need help identifying my car EmptyFri 30 May - 21:00

I purchased a 1970 Mach 1. That is what I was told. I have no reason to doubt it either. The car has all the Mach 1 stuff. The problem is, the identification sticker is badly faded. I can't read all the numbers. I pulled the fender off and what I can read on the door does match the numbers on the frame. The problem is I only really have the serial number for the car. It is 0F195816. Is there somewhere I can go to track down the details of this car with just the serial number? Any help would be appreciated.

Your missing some numbers / letters in your readout. There should be 11, such as 0R05M129276. Without all of them it's a guess scratch

Isn't there a badge behind the windscreen, drivers side, just above the dash ?

No there is no tag on by the dash. That was the reason I pulled the fender. So there is no way to look up the serial number?

I also have another plate with the Serial # on it that is on the Rad Support. I am not 100% sure if all 70 Mustangs have this on the Rad support or it depends on where it was built. Mine is on the Right Front right beside the headlight.
