Wide rocker moulding installation problems.

Good day. Trying to install argent moulding below doors, have original clips but cannot attach moulding to clips once the clips are pop riveted on to the body. Has anyone a solution or am I not doing something wrong.

the molding doesn't go on so easily as it did apart from the car. it was a little nerve wrecking putting them on myself as i had to muscle and tap them on with a rubber mallet. make sure all your tabs are in correct place and not smashed to close to the body for the molding to get between the trim and clips. jeremy
