Can ayone advise me on how the driver's side chrome remote mirror bezel attaches to the door panel?

a 1970 Mach1 has a 90 degree angle at the controle unit, that is inserted from the rear of the doorpanel.
[1969 has a straight unit]

At the front of the panel you need to screw on a ring-type bezel
