I originally purchased this Mach 1 in 1970 at Hub Ford in Atlanta. It was later traded to Faulkner Oldsmobile in 1973 in the Philadelphia area. The vehicle was yellow with black interior, 351 Cleveland 4 barrel, auto trans, and A/C. I would like to see if this Mustang is still on the road...hopefully it is!

Nearly impossible without a VIN to say if it's still out there. Good Luck

Oops I'm sorry. Embarassed I'm so used to people saying they'd love to find " the blue car they had when they were 16", I didn't notice the topic title with VIN (LOL).

You didn't hear this from me because it might be illegal, but if you have a friend in law enforcement, he may be able to run the VIN and let you know if the car is still out there.

I did this a few years ago and found a 1970 Mustang Convertible I had sold in 1977. The problem is they may have to run it in all 50 states.

I was fortunate that the person I had sold it to 30 years earlier kept it and still lived in the same state. When they ran the VIN for that particular state it was still registered.

I also checked my Mustang Production Guide Vol 2 1967-73 by Jim Smart. It was published in 1994 and has VIN's from thousands of 67-73 Mustangs that people registered with Jim years ago. Your VIN is not listed , sorry.

Thanks for checking that publication for me, and yes, that's a good idea, although now I need to convince my niece's husband to access that info!
