PostSubject: Ridge on flat black hood stripe.   Sun 11 Jul - 10:42

I got my car repainted, actually it's still in the works. The hood stripe was painted flat black and it has a fairly prodominant ridge along the edges. I realize the hood was clear coated & the stripe was painted afterwards but it concerns me... should the edges be that noticeable?? I've really been trying to do this resto properly & not realy knowing much about he painting process, I don't want it screwed up at this stage by a lazy (not saying he is) body guy.
Thanks
