| Hi guys, I had to find a website dedicated to the 1970 Mach 1's to get tech help here, so I'm new to this site. I have a customer with a '70 Mach 1 & he is trying to determine which 14x6" wheels are correct for his car - he DOES have the build sheet for it, & even the window sticker, but cannot determine yet what wheels are correct for his car. The car came equipped with steel wheels, dog-dish caps, & trim rings, but the dilemma is - WHAT steel wheels? He just sent me this link showing this wheel: http://www.motortopia.com/files/8988/album_raytags_1970_mustang_mach1_concours_/4726a5228c9c0/Mach1_roue_avant.jpg He bought these from me: http://www.classicchambered.com/rims/ford-14-6.jpgI cannot find anything that specifies a "slotted" or non-slotted wheel in a Hollanders. Are both these style steel wheels correct for 1970 Mach 1's, & how do you determine which one is correct for his car? Thank you, -Eric | |

| Hi!
The first pic is my picture of my 1970 Mach1, and on the invoice I find Styled Steel Wheel. this is correct
The steel wheel is for trim ring & hubcaps or sport wheel cover
I'm sure is not only mentionned on your invoice steel wheel.

| Ray, do you know what the actual code for this wheel is on the build sheet? Also, what would the code be for a "regular" steel wheel?
Thanks, -Eric | |

| He's got the build sheet & window sticker is all I know. It would specify the exact type of wheels on the build sheet, but I don't know how to read a Ford build sheet. | |

| There are the wheels that are on my 70 Mach Originally they used the Trim Ring & Hubcap Then I got a set of full style hubcaps. Far as I know the only wheel that will accept the full sized wheel cover is a 14X7 but thats not 100% Mine are 14X7, and came off my uncles 1970 Mustang that he purchase brand new with the Trim Rings and Hubcap. | |

| when i bought my mach, it also had the slotted wheels in your picture. my build sheet designates the style as an S, Type is an A also code is an A. dont see many Machs with these wheels. , probably somewhat rare | |
