Front Grill Chrome Trim Installation Question Empty
PostSubject: Front Grill Chrome Trim Installation Question   Front Grill Chrome Trim Installation Question EmptyWed 11 Jul - 11:09

The wide lower piece of chrome trim that touches each headlight bucket chrome trim piece. It's held down by small screws at both the front (leading) edge and the back edge...(before the front thin chrome piece is put on). what type of fastener's go in the end holes (each end left and right) where it overlaps to the headlite bucket chrome trim piece? Most restored cars i've b een looking at do not have anything in this holes. Which results in the trime piece not sitting flush/secure as it should. Does it get some special fastener, or should there be a clip installed, with a screw going in thru the top??? Any suggestions, pictures???? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
