Single or dual points? Empty
PostSubject: Single or dual points?   Single or dual points? EmptySun 27 May - 10:22

I have a 70' Mach 1 351w, after running for a while, it refuses to start again until it cools down. Most of what I have read on here tells me its a points issue. Im having a hard time figuring out which pertronix ignition to go with. Single or dual points? Im still learning this car and feeling a little ignorant when it comes to diagnosing it. Who can help me with this?

no sure about the single or dual but I would think a pertronix with multispark would negate any need for dual points.
Checl out what sor of coil you have, I had the old yellow top oil filled coil and when it got hot it it would not spark so car would not start. I swapped it out for a bosch GT40R and all good now.
