Door panels.

Good Day. Just installed new door panels in our Mach 1. All lined up perrty good but found I could not get the wave out of the lower edge of the panel where the carpeted section is screwed to the metal door. Is there a channel missing or am I doing something wrong, like some feed back if anyone else had same prob. Thank-you
