Power Steering Pump Paint Empty
PostSubject: Power Steering Pump Paint   Power Steering Pump Paint EmptyFri 29 Apr - 21:17

The paint we use on 69-70 power steering pumps that are the blue-green color is PPG No. PAR-12366 acrylic enamel.

The color match is accurate. Most power-steering-pump oil-fill dipsticks were painted the pump color. If you remove the dipstick from an original paint pump, the top portion of the fill tube is bare metal where the dipstick covered it when the pump was painted.

Most restorers often overlook that detail.
