| I have peiced together a set for my car. But some of the peices have holes that are drilled into them for screws to mount. Also missing the tabs. This can be fixed, I just need to know how. Can I use solder to fill the holes or tig, mig,or spot weld them. and, as for the stupid tabs couldnt I mount a new tab from round stock or something? I already have the rocker paint, thought that was a little unusuall (sp). thnaks Kyle | |

| Hi Kyle,
not sure of the answers but interested as I have some of th esame issues. Also if it is of any interest I saw individual rockers on ebay at the minute, both front fenders and I think one sill rocker all on different auctinos if anyone interested.
I hope to read a few replies.
Cheers

| I have a couple holes in my rocker piece and the studs were missing. I purchased the #8 screw studs that mount in the rear valance corners. I drilled out the stud location on the rocker piece from the back using a drill press. The drill size was slightly larger than the stud head. I ruffed the stud head up with a file. I used Belzona 1221. This stuff makes JB weld look like elmers. Do a internet search on Belzona and you will find it. Belzona is like steel so it would be difficult to sand it between the fins, so I left a little hole space for body filler. Alan | |
