Do 70 Mach 1s have windsors?

I know this may seem a strange question since you all know 1970 Mach 1s inside out. I read up on the net that some (really rare) 70s were equipped with windsors. if so which ones would have?

I am new to Mach 1s and my friend just said mine has a windsor. I did not correct him til I get all the facts straight.

Thoughts on this?

Yes windsor & Cleveland is available in 351-2V only.

A 351 Windsor and Cleveland can easily be distinguished because the thermostat housing on a Cleveland is vertical, mounted in the engine block where as the Windsor thermostat housing will be on the front of the intake manifold pointed toward the radiator.

Also if I recall correctly the Windsor should have 6 bolts on the valve cover where as the Cleveland should have 8, but keep in mind if the heads have been swapped this may not be true.

The 351-2V is available in Windsor or Cleveland version.
the 351- 2V Cleveland replace the 351-2V Windsor in the mid year of production.
